TOWN WIDE FOOD DRIVE, Saturday, March 17th
The annual food drive to benefit The Food Bank of South Jersey will be begin at 9:00 a.m. Gold flyers for pick up will be distributed between March 7 and March 16. The morning of the Food Drive, simply put your donation on the front steps with the gold flyer attached. Volunteers will be coming by to pick up your donations. Last year, through the generosity of our community, we were able to fill over 100 boxes with over 3,000 pounds of food to help people at risk of hunger and malnutrition. There are volunteer opportunities for all ages. Volunteer forms to help are available at the Library and at the Methodist Church.
Additional Hours for Construction & Zoning
To better serve our residents, Tuesday evening hours at the Service Operations Facility, Construction and Zoning office will be by appointment, effective March 6th. Please call 546-2580 to schedule.
Senior Citizen Dinner, Wednesday, March 21st, 5:00 p.m., High School Cafeteria, 1st Avenue & Garden Street
This event will be put on by the Haddon Heights Public School’s 6th grade students. Dinner will include baked ziti, tossed salad, meatballs/sausage and a variety of desserts. Transportation will be provided for those who do not drive. Bus pick up outside of the Library at 4:30 p.m. and at Stanfill Towers at 4:40 p.m. Please RSVP to Lauren Orfe at 547-7647. Seating is limited, please respond by March 14th.
